India Douglas, LCSW
India Douglas, LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) founded Pathway to Self to help others reach a deeper understanding of past traumas through therapy and provide tangible tools to move forward. She’s been working in schools for the past eight years and currently works at a school in Brooklyn, New York teaching underserved kids the fundamentals when it comes to understanding feelings. Prior to launching Pathway to Self, she was also a teletherapist at Brooklyn Center for Psychotherapy to all ages and genders during the pandemic at a time when emotional distress was at an all-time high.
“This is just the beginning of me providing more content about the importance of mental health. I love what I do and I’m happy to share my insight with others,” she tells xoNecole of her mission.
